How to Register
In 2025, the Blue Grass Council will be offering three weeks of in-person summer camp.
- Week 1: June 22-28 (register here)
- Week 2: June 29 – July 5 (register here)
- Week 3: July 6-12 (register here)
In order to ensure quick and accurate processing, all registrations for summer camp 2025 will be handled digitally through the MyCouncil system. Your MyCouncil dashboard will enable you to manage your attendees, submit payments, and track attendance/requirement completion. Step-by-step instructions for using MyCouncil are linked below:
When you go to register for the first time, you’ll select the “Unit” option in the “Register a Group” section. If you want, you can add specific attendees at this stage, but you don’t have to—you can add them later. Once you select the “Unit” option, you can add your unit’s information, estimated youth/adult counts, and select your requested campsite (subject to approval).
Click the button below to see more registration details, including a camp map and information about each campsite.
Summer Camp Staff
Being on summer camp staff is an adventure unique in Scouting! Staff members are responsible for preparing, running, and supporting the camp program. Only on camp staff can you spend a summer at Camp McKee, making friends and learning valuable skills and get paid for it!
Forms and Resources
The following forms and resources are available to help you prepare for summer camp.
Registration Aids (Unit Only)
Your unit can use these tools to streamline your registration process. Please note that these are intended for unit use only and should not be turned in to the council office.
- Individual Attendee Details — this fillable PDF contains all required registration fields for Scouts/adults and can be handed out to unit members to easily collect this information.
- Unit Roster — this spreadsheet can be used for internal tracking of all unit members, fees, payments, and remaining balances. You can also do this through MyCouncil. (In the event of a conflict between the information on this spreadsheet and the information in MyCouncil, the information on MyCouncil will take priority.)
- Merit Badge Class Worksheet — this spreadsheet can be helpful in collecting your Scouts’ first and second merit badge choices for program registration in the spring.
