Popcorn

The Popcorn sales program enables your unit to do the things they want without running many fundraisers. By selling popcorn in the fall, you can support an entire year of Scouting for your unit. This is an officially approved council-unit money-earning project that many packs, troops, and crews participate in each year.

Important Dates for 2025

Show-N-Sell Dates

  • Orders Due: Friday, Aug 29, 2025
  • Order Pick-Up: Thursday, September 11, 2025, and Friday, September 12, 2025

Mid Order (Chocolate Pretzels can be ordered)

  • Orders Due: Wednesday, October 1, 2025
  • Order Pick-Up: Friday, October 10, 2025

Return Drop Off Dates: can only return up to 10%

*New to 2025 sale—return orders in Trails End Portal

  • Return orders can be placed 10/27/25 – 10/31/25
  • Return orders must be placed in order to return any popcorn that next week to the council office

*Chocolate Pretzels can’t be returned*

  • Monday, November 3, 2025, and Tuesday, November 4, 2025 (office will stay open until 6:00pm)

Take Order Dates

  • Orders Due: Monday, November 10, 2025
  • Order Pick-Up: Thursday, November 20, 2025 and Friday, November 21, 2025

Final Payments Due to Council Office:

  • Monday, December 1, 2025

Commission for 2025

  • Sale base commission WITH Prizes: 29%
  • Extra Commission available to earn (up to 5%)
    • 2% – Use Trails End app for all storefronts
    • 1% – Attend one popcorn training
    • 1% – Unit balance is paid in full by December 1
    • 1% – Raise more than you did in 2024 (minimum of $1,000 sold for unit to receive)
  • Online Sales Commission = 30%
    • Paid to unit directly if using Trails End App. Otherwise, Council will mail check to Unit Popcorn Kernel.
