The Popcorn sales program enables your unit to do the things they want without running many fundraisers. By selling popcorn in the fall, you can support an entire year of Scouting for your unit. This is an officially approved council-unit money-earning project that many packs, troops, and crews participate in each year.

Important Dates

Show-N-Sell Dates

  • Orders Due: Friday, Aug 30th
  • Order Pick-Up: Thursday, September 12th and Friday, September 13th

Mid Order (Chocolate Pretzels can be ordered)

  • Orders Due: Monday, October 7th
  • Order Pick-Up: Friday October 18th and Saturday October 19th

Return Drop Off Dates: can only return up to 10%

*Chocolate Pretzels can’t be returned*

  • Monday November 4th & Tuesday November 5th (office will stay open until 6:00pm)

Take Order Dates

  • Orders Due: Monday, November 11th
  • Order Pick-Up: Thursday, November 21st  & Friday, November 22nd

Final Payments Due to Council Office:

  • Monday, December 2nd

Commission

  • Sale base commission WITH Prizes: 29%
  • Sale base commission WITHOUT Prizes: 32%
  • Extra Commission available to earn (up to 5%)
    • 2% – Use trails end app
    • 2% – Have 75% of your Scouts participate by October 13th
    • 1% – Raise more than you did last year
  • Online Sales Commission = 30%
    • Paid to unit directly if using Trails End App. Otherwise, Council will mail check to Unit Popcorn Kernel.
